The car, as well as it’s occupants, was pumped full of bullets (an estimated 150 of them) on an empty road back in 1934 and it has been a grisly attraction in all kinds of venues almost before the bodies were even cold. As odd as it might seem to travel in order to see a blood stained car, Bonnie and Clyde are still very well known today. Their story has been romanticized in film and television for decades, and it’s only natural to develop a certain amount of curiosity about how these two met their end. That end was an unmistakably violent one too, and being able to see the car has a certain way of reminding visitors that not everything about these two was quite so romantic. This car doesn’t really seem so out of place in Nevada though. With Vegas having been more or less built with organized crime money, and going by the nickname Sin City, well a car full of bullet holes and blood stains isn’t such a strange attraction. Plans are also in the works for a Mob museum in Las Vegas, which is sure to include no small number of similar artifacts.
